We started our day at Artistic Hair in Mishawaka where the ladies got hair and makeup done. One of my favorite shots of the day happened here. I told the Maid of Honor to open the bottle of Champagne towards me so I could shoot the cork coming out. Little did I know, she was lined up right at me! I was certainly in the splash zone but it made for a great photo and a great reaction from her as I kept shooting through the foamy spray.  We then headed to The First Methodist Church in Mishawaka. A beautiful old church in the heart of Downtown Mishawaka. After the ceremony, we traveled west to downtown South Bend. Once the party arrived, we went for a little walk to get some photos with the entire bridal party. After a couple locations with them, I had the best man and the maid of honor come with me and the bride and groom for some portraits of just the two of them. The comedy duo of the best man and MOH provided some great laughs and expressions from the newlywed couple. The reception soon followed at The Woodward. This was a great venue to shoot in. Not too big, not too small. Great intimate feeling for all of the guests. The dance floor was full from the beginning of open dancing til the end of the night when I left!
